UPSC Notification 2020 has been released on February 12, 2020. The candidates can check the UPSC notification as released on upsc.gov.in here. UPSC has notified 796 vacancies in the official UPSC notification 2020. We will also simplify the eligibility criteria for IAS, for example age limit and the number of attempts.
UPSC releases the Civil Services (IAS) Notification and starts the IAS exam process. No changes have been done in the IAS Eligibility, the number of attempts, CSAT, UPSC IAS exam pattern, IAS syllabus and optional subjects.

UPSC Vacancies 2020

The UPSC has notified 796 vacancies in the UPSC notification 2020. Every year, the number of vacancies lies between 750 to 1000. But in recent years, the number of vacancies is declining in the official UPSC notification. UPSC vacancies are showing the requirement in various Civil Services and the three All India Services i.e IAS, IPS and IFoS.
As per the media reports, the Indian Railways had sent a request to the UPSC to withdraw from the Civil Services Exam but this year the services related to the Indian Railways were also notified.

Age Limit for IAS

All the aspirants eagerly waiting for the UPSC notification 2020 to know whether the age limit for IAS exam is reduced or remains the same. The age limit is an important factor because of the limited number of attempts permitted in the IAS Exam.
There is a proposal under consideration to reduce the upper age limit for UPSC IAS exam. This proposal was circulated based on various committees’ recommendations. But as of now, the lower age limit for IAS exam is 21 years and the upper age limit is 32 years and the relaxations in the upper age limit are also provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

IAS Syllabus and Pattern

UPSC notification 2020 will be the only official source to know the IAS Syllabus. There are speculations that UPSC may change the IAS mains examination pattern and do away with the optional subject. If this happens, there will be a huge impact on the IAS result because all the candidates will be at par under the new pattern.
The changes in the pattern of the IAS mains examination will have far-reaching consequences. UPSC notification will explain the details related to the IAS exam pattern and put the speculation to rest.
UPSC Notification will provide concrete information related to the UPSC IAS application and filling the online form with the deadline.
In the UPSC notification 2020, it is expected that specific instruction will be issued for the EWS candidates because of the legal case pending at the Central Administrative tribunal. This year’s UPSC notification can be the last combined Civil Services notification because of the Common Eligibility Test proposed by the Union Government of India for all the Public Sector Jobs.You can also check all the exams date conduct by UPSC
